Flokk’s first collaboration with the amazing Kara Rosenlund. We worked with Kara to bring her kitchen and butler dreams to life in her incredible Minjerabah Island Home.

Kara had already found her dream stone in the Patagonia granite and our job was to create the layout, flow and custom joinery detailing. We helped bring Kara’s vision to life, working within the constraints of a small footprint in her butlers, poles in inconvenient places and 80’s island architecture. We worked on big picture layout and materiral selection, as well as small details like how to support that stone shelf, cork cushioning to prevent movement in the stone waterfall edging and integrating all her appliances for a seamless looks.

The result is a home that couldn’t belong to any one else but Kara, full of style, personality with incredible eye for detail and drama.
