Collaborating with Kara Rosenlund once more, Flokk designed a suite of joinery to complement the exisiting architecture of Kara’s Home.

Using the warmth of spotted gum, custom cabinetry was designed for every room, including custom robes, bookshelves and a full kitchen and bathroom renovation.

As a nod to the 70’s aesthetic a tiled benchtop was added to the petite kitchen, blending seamlessly to create a feeling of belonging without descending into mimcry or kitsch.

Open shelves are a must for Kara and we designed plenty of opportunities for her to display her treasures collected over years of careful curation.
